2nd Annual Adoption Fair

Have you ever thought about adopting a child?

Are you or someone you know thinking about starting or expanding your family?

There are many children who absolutely deserve and want to be a part of a loving family.  Invest a few hours of your time and let us show you how the adoption process works; all of the supports available both pre- and post-adoption; and the amazing rewards starting or growing your family through adoption. The Foster, Adoptive and Kinship Coalition Team (FAKCT) is bringing together foster care and adoption agencies from across Connecticut to kick off National Adoption Month. The fair features adoption agencies focusing on international, domestic and foster care adoption; ​the Department of Children and Families; the Connecticut Heart Gallery; as well as other non-profit organizations involved in adoption support services.  Connecticut families will be able to learn more about the process of becoming an adoptive parent from many perspectives.  Foster care licensing information will also be available.

Please join us in Southbury on November 4 from 11am – 2pm at United Church of Christ, 283 Main St North for our 2nd Annual National Adoption Month Adoption Fair. Agency representatives from across Connecticut and Massachusetts will be hosting information tables where you can ask questions, pick up information and mingle. There will be a panel presentation at 12 noon representing domestic, international and foster-to-adopt experts. Refreshments will be available.
